In 1996, he began at The Optometric Center in Charles City, IA after Dr. Larry Brewer retired, practicing with Dr. Paul Burnham for many years until his retirement. Dr. Opp specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases (glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy), but also enjoys pediatric vision, vision therapy, LASIK evaluation/referral, and contact lens fits. He is married to his best friend, Gayle, and the father of five children and one grandchild.
